Poured limestone for driveways, paths, patios and around pools.
Liquid limestone, or poured limestone, has many benefits in landscaping. It’s cool beneath your feet, and as it’s a poured product, unlike paving there are no gaps, which means no weeds and no ant burrows. Liquid limestone is hard wearing, without fading or flaking. It contrasts well with gardens, decking and buildings, with a range of designs available to be carved in.

Liquid limestone, or poured limestone, is made with crushed limestone and cream concrete, and can be the ideal solution for many landscaping applications.
Poured limestone can be used for patios, driveways, garden paths, and around swimming pools for a non-slip, modern solution. Liquid limestone is strong, beautiful, and doesn’t invite problems such as ants and weeds like paving can. Once installed, the liquid limestone can be carved with a number of different patterns to personalise your area.
The combination of crushed limestone and concrete, means that liquid limestone offers the natural colour and texture of limestone, as well as the hard wearing durability of concrete.
All concrete products shrink as part of the curing process. Control joints are crucial in creating a pre-determined straight line in your liquid limestone for the cracking that occurs with the curing of the liquid limestone.

The area is excavated, compacted and watered before being formed out in preparation for the poured limestone. Optionally, galvanised steel mesh can be cut to fit the area, lifted off the ground to ensure it sits fully encased in the limestone for added strength.

The pattern that is carved into the surface of the limestone can either be performed as a wet cut or dry cut. This means the pattern can be made at two different times during the curing of your limestone- either the same day when the limestone reaches a good consistency for carving, or the pattern can be cut in dry the following day. Dry cutting is our preferred pattern cutting method.
