Duncraig Project

Our customer in Duncraig needed a new fence around his new build. The existing asbestos fence was damaged, ugly, and had been used to retain soil, and so was falling over. We installed reconstituted limestone blocks to retain the different landscape levels between properties and installed a new Colorbond fence with slats.

Before, During and After- 1

Once the existing asbestos fence had been removed, we retained the block with 1 metre reconstituted limestone blocks, and core drilled a ‘Grey Ridge’ Colorbond fence on top, with H1800mm full privacy Colorbond sheets and H300mm slats fence extension in matching ‘Grey Ridge”.

Before, During and After- 2

Our excavator fits into tight spaces and means we can lift the 1 metre blocks (at around 240kg per block) into place.

Before, During and After- 3

The Colorbond fence at the front of the property raked neatly down to a less obtrusive height.

Before, During and After- 4

The side of the house was finished off with a matching Colorbond fence return for privacy and security.

Before, During and After- 5

The new limestone block retaining wall meant landscaping levels could be made level, without worrying about different levels on neighbouring properties affecting the fence.

Before and After- 6

The new Colorbond fence and limestone retaining wall stepped neatly up into the higher corner.

Before, During and After- 7

The neighbours can now enjoy this beautiful straight limestone wall and sharp Colorbond fence, instead of a leaning, broken asbestos fence.
