There are many variations for brick walls, including whether they are constructed using blocks or bricks and choice of block/brick, if they are rendered, the dimensions of the piers and infills, mortar colour, and choice of infill materials and style.
As well as the construction of your wall, additional features can add style and functionality including letterboxes installed into your wall, pier capping and infill capping.

Check with your local council for information on what is required to be submitted with your building permit.
You may need to provide your council with a scaled site plan with dimensions of the proposed fence, and scaled elevation and cross-sections drawings. You can expect these submissions to require certification by a structural engineer.
